Waiver of Liability for Damage of Goods in Transport

I release Eliminate Chaos and their workers, of any and all liability for injury or damages that may occur as a result of the loading, unloading or transportation of any personal property or goods.

I understand that Eliminate Chaos, nor their employees or contractors, are not responsible for damage or injury caused by the contents of my property while in transport, including injury caused by or items damaged during a car accident or theft.

This includes Eliminate Chaos company vehicles, and any personal vehicles owned by employees, contractors or client personal vehicles that are used for the transportation of these goods or personal property.


Shipping | Transporting | Storage by Company/Third Parties

Eliminate Chaos will pack items for storage, shipment, or moving. Items may be photographed. Our liability is limited to damage occurred during packing or handling only.

Once an item has been picked up by a third-party vendor, Eliminate Chaos has no liability for any damage that may occur while items are being stored, handled, or transported by such third parties.

At the client’s direction, Eliminate Chaos may transport items for consignment, sale, or trash. In the event that an item is damaged in transport, Client agrees to waive any and all claims against Eliminate Chaos if the item was damaged due to an automobile accident.

Claims Process

During and at the conclusion of the unpack, Eliminate Chaos will bring to your attention any damage that was not itemized on the preexisting damage log.

If you discover damage after we leave, you can still report it to our office.

Claims for damage must be reported to our office, in writing, via e-mail or postal mail within five days of your move.

Photo evidence must be provided upon request.

Pre-Existing Damage

Eliminate Chaos is not responsible for damage that occurs to items that have been previously damaged and/or repaired.

Such items are vulnerable to repeat breakage regardless of the care taken in packing and moving.

As we pack, items with pre-existing damage and/or repairs will be documented in a damage log, and provided to you, upon request.

Eliminate Chaos inspects all pieces as we pack but Eliminate Chaos may not notice all pre-existing damage and/or repairs.

In addition, Eliminate Chaos is not responsible for the damage of items that may occur because of unstable shelving, shipping or storage.

Options to Repair, Replace, or Reimburse

Eliminate Chaos shall have the option of repairing or replacing the damaged item with material of like kind and quality.

If repair is not feasible, the item will be replaced if possible, or reimbursement provided.
